Yasuho - Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Yasuho ("the bot"), a Discord community bot, and of its web dashboard. Yasuho is operated by Horizon Vista, a sole proprietorship (micro-entreprise) based in France ("we", "us"). By adding the bot to a server, using its commands, or using the dashboard, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot.

1. Who can use the bot

You must meet the minimum age and other requirements of Discord's own Terms of Service, and follow Discord's Community Guidelines. Server managers who add the bot are responsible for how it is configured and used on their server.

2. Your data

How we collect, use, keep and delete data is described in our Privacy Policy: https://github.com/yaniswav/Yasuho/blob/main/PRIVACY.md. It is part of these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the bot to:

• break Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, or the law;
• harass, spam or harm other users, including through reminders, custom commands, music requests or any feature that posts content;
• try to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the bot, its dashboard, its servers or other users' data;
• abuse rate limits, quotas or anti-abuse protections, or work around them.

We may limit, suspend or block any user or server that breaks these rules, in particular to protect other users or the service.

4. Content

You remain responsible for what you ask the bot to post or keep (reminder texts, custom command replies, AFK messages, profile fields, playlists and similar). You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display that content for the feature you used, and only for as long as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Free features and premium perks

The bot's features are free. We may offer optional premium perks that add to them. When we do, these commitments apply:

• Nothing free becomes paid. Premium only adds things on top: higher limits, cosmetic options, extra conveniences. A feature you can use for free today will not be moved behind a payment.
• No pay-to-win and no safety for sale. Experience points, levels and leaderboards, moderation, anti-raid and security features are never sold.
• Nothing is taken hostage. If a subscription ends, nothing you created with it is deleted. Whatever goes beyond the free limits stays visible, as read-only, and becomes editable again if the perk comes back.
• No pressure. The bot does not send you unsolicited messages to sell you anything. Premium is shown where you look for it (for example /premium), or once in the reply to a command when you reach a free limit.

Purchases are made through Discord. Premium perks are bought with Discord's built-in purchase system (Discord App Store / Premium Apps). Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellation and refunds are handled by Discord under Discord's Paid Services Terms, which apply to every purchase. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your Discord settings; the perk stays active until the end of the period already paid. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

We may change which perks are included in a premium offer. If a change removes something you are paying for, we will announce it in advance and it will not take effect before the end of the period you have already paid.

6. Availability and changes to the bot

We run the bot on a best-effort basis. It may be unavailable, change, or have bugs, and features that depend on third-party services (Discord, top.gg, AniList, MangaDex, music sources and others) may stop working when those services change. We may modify, add or remove features at any time; the commitments in section 5 still apply.

7. Liability

The bot is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost data or lost profits resulting from the use of, or the inability to use, the bot. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Termination

You can stop using the bot at any time by removing it from your server or by no longer using its commands; your data is then handled as described in the Privacy Policy. We may stop providing the bot to a user or server that breaks these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published at this address, with its date at the top. Significant changes will be announced through the bot's support server.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory protections of the consumer law of your country of residence.
